Pee Wee Black Wolves Advance to Semis With 3-1 Win Over Hamilton
With both teams tied with four points, the Waterloo Pee Wee Black Wolves and Hamilton Reps faced off in the deciding game of the series on Sunday afternoon.

The players, coaches, parents, and fans were primed for a great final game of this very close series.  The four previous games had either been tied or won by one goal so another tight game was on the horizon.  The Wolves got on the board first when Zach Doughty fed a pass from the blue line to the front of the net where a wide open Drayton Duckett redirected the pass by the Reps' goalie.  Jacob McMahon also assisted on the play.  The Wolves retained the 1-0 lead until the third when Hamilton tied the game while on the power play.  The Wolves responded quickly however when Raymond Russell found a loose puck in the high slot, turned around and fired a low shot to the corner to put the Wolves back on top.  Doughty picked up the helper.  Both teams kept up the intensity through the final ten minutes and with less than two minutes to go in the game, McMahon skated over the Hamilton blue line and shot the puck towards the Hamilton net.  The puck took one bounce and fooled the goaltender to seal the victory and the series for the Wolves.  The Hardest Worker was given to the whole team for a great effort.  A big thank you to Matthew Crerar and Tony Shi for filling in and helping out the team today.

The Wolves will now face either the Kitchener Jr. Rangers or London Jr. Knights in the semi-finals.
