Black Wolves Drop 3-2 Decision to Gold in Game 2
The Pee Wee Black Wolves were hoping to take a 2-0 lead in the consolation final over Waterloo Gold on Wednesday night but Gold got solid goaltending to fend off Black by a 3-2 score.

Black opened the scoring in the first on the power play. Black was buzzing around the net and Jeremy Nejadrasoul found a loose puck in the slot and his low shot found the back of the net.  Gold tied it up soon after on a power play of their own.  Black regained the lead early in the second when Tyrell Brown intercepted a pass at the Gold blue line and skated in on a breakaway.  The Gold goaltender made the save on Brown's shot but Nejadrasoul went hard to the net and banged in the rebound.  Gold once again wasted little time responding as they capitalized on a missed face-off assigmnent to tie the score at two.  Before the second period ended, Gold took the lead when they capitalized on another power play.  Black applied the pressure throughout the third period but were not able to get the equalized past the Gold goaltender.  Griffin Jones was the Hardest Worker for Waterloo Black.

Game three of the series goes Monday evening at Albert McCormick Arena.
