A very successful season on and off the ice has come to an end with a loss to Hamilton tonight and the boys should be very proud of their efforts throughout the year. The loss of three players to season ending injuries over the last few months finally took its toll but the boys never quit and should be commended for their efforts. They grew as a team and picked each other up whenever they could. Sometimes the biggest wins aren't always on the ice.
It was a real pleasure to be around such a terrific group of parents, coaches and players.
Thanks again for everything!

The Bantam A Wolves Black claimed silver this weekend at the Whitby Thanksgiving Tournament. A hard-fought 6 games over 4 days took its toll and the Wolves suffered their first loss of the tournament in the final to a very strong Whitby Blue team with the outcome in doubt until the final buzzer sounded. A late empty net goal by Whitby dashed any hopes of gold despite a furious rally from a 4-1 deficit near the halfway point of the final 20 minute period. Both teams got a standing ovation from the large crowd after playing a very clean but heavy hitting tilt late on Monday afternoon. Tremendous effort in our first tournament of the year!!!
