The Waterloo Wolves headed north to Ottawa this Christmas Holiday to compete in the prestigious Bell Capital Cup. Waterloo was one of 20 teams entered in the Minor Atom Division, and went in knowing that they would be facing some of the top ranked teams in Ontario.

The Waterloo Minor Atom A/AA Wolves climbed on-board their
luxury coach for a road trip to Sarnia on a rainy Saturday morning. The Wolves were hungry for a second win in a
row after alternating wins and losses since their excellent tournament showing
at Thanksgiving in Whitby. With Rock’em
Sock’em Hockey playing on the overhead video screens whetting their appetite,
the Wolves rolled into Sarnia ready to play.

The Waterloo Minor Atom A/AA Wolves faced the London Jr.
Knights in the Wolves' second regular season game of the year. The Knights already had a tournament
championship and
two regular season games under their belts outscoring their
opponents 11-1. Although the Wolves
continued with their accurate passing game, the Knights were on them quickly
and took away their time and space. The
Wolves were able to keep up with London, and our goalie held us in the game
right to the end, but we were not able to generate quality scoring chances and gave
up four unanswered goals in the first two periods leading to a 4-0 loss.
