Black Wolves Sweep Series With Woodstock

The Pee Wee Black Wolves won two straight games over Woodstock to move on to the consolation finals.

In the opener, the Wolves got goals from Jeremy Nejadrasoul, Matthew Schmidt, and Jeff Young to get by Woodstock 3-2.  Zack Walsh and Drayton Duckett picked up assists.  Brandon Thompson was solid in goal for the Wolves and he also stopped his fourth consecutive penalty shot of the season.  Mason Evans was named the game's Hardest Worker.

In the second game, the Wolves rode the goaltending of Brett McLearon, who made several great saves, to win 3-0 and sweep the series.  Nejadrasoul opened the scoring in the first with the assist going to Walsh.  Before the period was over, Lucas Snyder made it 2-0 with Nejadrasoul picking up the helper.  Walsh added an insurance marker in the second with assists going to Nejadrasoul and Young.  McLearon and Raymond Russell shared the Hardest Worker.

The Black Wolves will now move on to the consolation finals to face Waterloo Gold.
