WolfPack Hockey School (WPHS) returns in 2021-22 for its eigth (8th) consecutive season!

WPHS is available to all Rep Hockey players from Novice to Major PeeWee.  The program takes a three-pronged approach to hockey development by narrowing the focus to the most important skills that can accelerate individual skill development: (1) Power Skating, (2) Puck Skills (shooting, puck control, passing) and (3) Tactical and Game Specific Skills.  Goaltenders receive individualized instruction and training on the skills and tactics required for their position.

With proper instruction, correction and repetition, the goal is to provide players and goaltenders with an intensive skills development program to improve their core skills and give coaches the tools to continue the skills program throughout the season as part of their team practices.


For skaters, the program includes all of the essential skills of skating (balance/agility, edge control, speed and power, pivots/transitions, quick starts, forward/backward stride), puck control and shooting.  Each skill will be broken down and then complimented with high tempo drills that will force players to use the skills being taught and challenge them to work outside of their comfort zone.


For goalies, the program will focus on the core skills  of goaltending, including skating/mobility, balance/control, positioning, angles, rebound control, play at the posts and game specific tactics.

All WPHS sessions are run by Holistic Hockey's professional hockey instructors.  Owner, Tyler Ertel, has been working with athletes of all ages and skill level for over 20 years. As a professionally trained educator, he’s able to inspire engaged learning and expedite results; helping every player to get the most out of each training session.
