Novice Timber Wolves vs Kitchener Jr Rangers Red
The Wolves 7 game winning streak ended today as they fought a hard battle against Kitchener losing 6 - 1.

The boys stood skate to skate, stick to stick, helmet to helmet and fought the good fight on the ice but were not rewarded on the scoreboard. It was a fast paced, high flying game with lots of chances and some very huge glove saves by Austin Zappitelli and Jacob Craig that helped keep the boys in the game.

It was late in the third that the team broke out up the ice to edged closer to tying the game up. Seamus-Riley McKay came up with a huge backcheck stopping a sure 3 on none against his netminder. Seamus stripped the puck and then fired it up to Ethan Wasylyshyn. Ethan cut across the middle of the open ice and slid the puck over to Thomas Chan. Thomas lofted the puck 10 feet in the air with a backhand. The puck went over the head of the Ranger's goalie (and everyone else on the ice) and landed in net.

Good game boys. Keep your feet going; be the first to get to the puck and attack the man with the puck.

Hardest worker goes to Seamus for his huge back check that allowed the team to get on the scoreboard.
