Novice Timber Wolves vs Hamilton Huskies Blue
The Wolves lost to Hamilton Blue 4 - 3 and split the series with a 1 win, 1 loss and 1 tie.

Both teams came out of the gate flying as the pace was fast and furious. Jude Hawthorne, in his first game back after a lengthy upper body injury, held the puck at the blue line and fired a shot over to Cole Hunsberger. Cole faked left, then faked right and spun in a full 360 to score the goal making it 1 - 1. Austin Zappitelli picked up the first ever goalie assist as he played the loose puck up to Seamus Riley-McKay. Seamus darted up the ice defending the puck with is life. He slapped a low whistle of a shot on net where Griffin Beddis somehow got his stick on it making it 2 - 2.

The pace was elevated even more in the second as the play went from end to end in a non stop format. There was only three stoppages in play the entire period. Austin had to come up big a few times to keep the game even.

With time winding down in the third, Jack Droumtsekas performed a little razzle dazzle as he twisted and turned away from the fore check and slid the puck across the blue line to his partner Aidan MacKinnon. Aidan blasted the puck that hit both goal posts, came out front only to bounce off Ethan Wasylshyn's leg and into the net... The old double post, off a player and nothing but net goal! Laser shot Aidan.

Excellent effort boys. Good luck against Cambridge on Sunday.
