Novice Timber Wolves vs Hamilton Huskies Black
The Wolves "took one on the chin" as they nearly beat Hamilton Huskies losing 7 - 0.

A depleted bench due to a "vacation bug" had Coach Mike, juggling his lines in an effort to bring home two points this afternoon. There were a few surprises as Quade and Jude were bumped up to the forward line. Both boys fit right in as if they were playing that position all year long. Quade's face off percentage on the day was 100%. Both boys nearly scored as they parked themselves in front of the net. Jude had a couple of good whacks at the puck only to watch it held just centimetres from crossing the goal line.  Goal cameras are so precise these days.

It was also double duty for the defense as they ran with just two lines. Aidan, Matthew, Jack and Jake showed no signs of fatigue as the game went on. All of the boys broke out of the zone with the puck several times throughout the game and nearly scored.

Austin was tested often during the game and came up huge allowing the team a chance to stay in the game.

The hardest worker went to Jude for his aggressive forward presence on the puck and nearly scoring.

Good luck in your final game of the season against Kitchener on Sunday.
