The Ice Wolves started their quest for the Tier 2 East/Central Alliance Championship by finishing the Playoffs in first place, which lined them up for the semi final tilt with St. Catherine's in the Play downs. The Wolves took the series 5 points to 1 in 3 games to set them up for the finals in a match with Brantford. Each player dug deep and worked hard to come out victorious in 2 games and advance the team to the Alliance Championship weekend April 10th - 12th.

The Ice Wolves are on the road playing in the West London Byron Optimist tournament this weekend. Friday nights tilt saw Waterloo draw even in both games 1-1 vs Hamilton Huskies and the host team West London. With 2 points heading into the 3rd game Saturday night Waterloo needed a win to advance to the finals on Sunday. The Wolves had an explosive start early in the game going up 2-0 in the 1st, 5 minutes of the game. Waterloo kept their foot on the gas all game and punched their ticket to the finals with 5-1 victory. On Sunday they will face the Tier 1 Hamilton Huskies in a rematch for the championship.
