The Clippers took an early lead in the game with a goal in the 1st period. Waterloo battled back and held a 2-1 lead midway into the 3rd. Waterloo killed off nearly all of the zebra inspired excitement of that period, but allowed a late marker that tied the game 2-2. Both teams walked away with a point each.
