Weekend Update
This weekend the Waterloo Ice Wolves hoped to leap into 1st place in league standings. Saturday the Wolves had a draw against Hamilton white 1-1 at home in Waterloo. Hoping for more than 1 point on the weekend the Wolves hit the road on Sunday for an evening tilt against St. Catherines. The home team got on the board with 1 in the first period. Waterloo battled back and at one point had a 3-1 lead. St. Catherines would not give up and eventually evened the score on a 5-3 man advantage late in the 3rd. The game finished in a deadlock 3-3 score. Waterloo walked out with 1 point here and 2 points on the weekend. This now places Waterloo in 4th place with 8 points, just 2 points out of a four way tie for 1st place.
