Semi-Finals- Belleville
Waterloo Ice Wolves met the Kanata Blazers in the early morning semi-finals. The Blazers wasted no time in this game by getting a 3-0 lead on the Wolves. The Wolves battled back in the latter part of the game and responded with 3 goals themselves. Unfortunately the Blazers picked up a 4th goal and finished the Wolves tournament play with a 4-3 score.
Overall competition level by the Wolves for the weekend was a success as 3 of the 4 teams we played advanced to the semi finals. The tournament's points taught the boys the importance of bringing your game, every game, every period, every shift against every team.
Good job boys, some of the best AE teams east of Toronto…. We know we got more to bring as the season progresses.
