This past hockey season seems to have flown by in a blink of an eye. Looking back there has been a vast improvement in every player on the team. It was exciting being a part of the 2014 – 2015 team and watching the boys make new friends, hang together and gel as one unit. There are so many wonderful things to say. Saying goodbye is the hardest.
I’d like to thank all of the coaches, Dan, James, Derrick and Mike, for their valuable time, effort and patience this year. You have done an amazing job coaching, teaching, inspiring and encouraging these future NHL hockey hopefuls as they journey through their path in hockey. I can only hope that the boys find their way on a team that you coach down the road. Wonderful job!
To the 2014 – 2015 Timber Wolves, helmets off to everyone! It was a pleasure watching everyone this year as you grew and developed your skills. You made my job of writing the post-game summaries a joy and easy. No matter what the outcome of the game, everyone had fun, laughed and was always smiling. I wish each and every one of you the very best hockey future. Remember one of the most important piece of advice I can pass along is to "Always Have Fun"! I am sure our hockey paths will cross in the years to come. Quade and I wish you all the very hockey best. You are the 2014/15 Silver Stick Champions!
The parents have been a wonderful inspiration for the team. You brought your sons to each practice, yes even the early ones, and each game; week in and week out. You always seemed to cheer the loudest for all the boys on the team. It was my pleasure to meet all of you and get to know you. Thank your for allowing me to take photos and videos of your sons. Enjoy the memories, they will last a lifetime.
