Wolves off to a Good Start and Ready for Peterborough!
The Major Atom Wolves are off to a good start, going 3 - 0 -2 in four exhibition and one regular season game.
In exhibition action, the Wolves defeated both Niagara 3 - 2, and Hamilton 5 - 0, while tying Guelph 3- 3, and London 2 -2. Their first regular season win came at the hands of Cambridge, in a tough 2 - 1 game.
In all five games the Wolves have shown many positives as they prepare for another season. The players have shown they remember it takes hard work and teamwork to be successful, and are showing this a little more each game. To help rekindle their team camaraderie, the Wolves players spent time Saturday before practice working on their bowling skills and enjoying many laughs together as a team.
The team now heads to Peterborough this weekend in what they are hoping to be a very successful tournament. Keep working hard and we will continue to get better each day!
