The Major Bantam AAA Wolves went 4-0-6 in their final 10 league games to secure second place in the East and earned them a first round bye. With an overall league record of 14-5-13, the Wolves finished 5th overall. The team has excellent success against the top teams in the league and Ontario. Since the end of October, the squad has lost 6 games in the past 35.
From the net out, the team has been getting excellent production from all players, whether that is in the form of points, special teams, or overall effort! This team is in every game they play and hopefully that can allow us to have a great play-off run.

The Waterloo Wolves had an outstanding weekend in the annual Waterloo Gold Puck Tournament. In the round robin the Wolves went 2-1-1. Beating Sarnia and Redford, tied against the Miss. Reps, and losing to the Huron Perth Lakers. In the semis they defeated the Mississauga Reps 6-4.
In the final the Wolves played the #3 team in the province, the Toronto Jr. Canadians. The Wolves took the early lead in the 2nd, on a goal by Mason Sinkledam (his first!). It was a fast paced game and the Jr. Canadians scored two late to win. Final score 3-1 Toronto.
The coaches are very pleased with the weekends results!
Great job by all players!

With wins in Brantford and at home to Lambton, the Wolves have climbed into second in the East and 4th overall in the league. The team seems to be firing on all cylinders and have big games this weekend against Hamilton and the Huron Perth Lakers. The players have done this through grit and determination and are finding ways to win games. The hard work in practice is paying off in the games, over the past several weeks. Great job to all players!
Go Wolves Go!!!
