Novice Timber Wolves vs Brantford 99ers
The Wolves were handed their second loss in as many nights losing 7 - 1 at the hands of Brantford.
There were a plethora of bright spots in the game where the boys stopped Brantford's rush as the defense back-checked the play not allowing the shot on net. The defense fired several shots from the point including the rebound goal by forward Ethan Wasylyshyn. The big stick of Jack Droumtsekas blasted a shot from the blue line that found it's way off of Cole Hunsberger's leg and then on Ethan's stick. The goal brought the boys to within one goal of Branford.
The battle along the boards was fast and fierce as the Wolves forced several turnovers in the neutral zone that lead to a few golden scoring opportunities.
Work hard boys. Clear the forwards out from in front of the net and protect your goalie. Forwards, attack the man with the puck.
