Novice Timber Wolves @ USA Silver Stick Tournament - Game 2
The Wolves picked up their second win at the Silver Stick Tournament notching the North London Nationals 3 - 2

For the second game in a row, the Wolves dominated the play in their opponent's end for most of the game. Thomas Chan passed the puck from behind the net to Cole Hunsberger. Cole tipped the puck in front of the net where Tim Hodson pounced on the loose puck and lifted it over the pad of the London netminder. The team went up 2 - 0 as Griffin Beddis passed the puck back to the point where Jake Patterson was waiting. Jake fired a low shot along the ice. Finn Skuterud redirected the shot and watched the puck slide through the 5 hole.

Austin Zappitelli stopped two breakaway attempts in the second period allowing the boys to maintain a one goal lead. The team kept London back on their skates for most of the second period but could not pad the lead.

A quick goal by London in the third period left the game knotted up at 2 a piece. With 2:27 remaining in the game, Tim Hodson lifted a shot on the net. Griffin Beddis batted the puck out of the air, off the goalie and over to Cole Hunsberger. Cole jammed the puck in the net giving the team the lead. That was all the team needed to preserve the win.

All of the lines were firing on all cylinders, passing the puck to the open man and shutting down any offensive rushes.

Austin Zappitelli was voted the player of the game for his stellar goaltending and giving the team a chance to win.

Another good game boys. Keep it up!
