Game 12 vs AtoMc Blue

Jan. 4th vs AtoMc Blue didn't pan out so well for Lightning but the boys played
a good game. 2 min. & 13 seconds into the 1st, Blue scored, making it 1-0
at 7:47. Lightning took 2 penalties over the remainder of the 1st but the
impressive back checking of #7 B. Uniac and the bang-up job by all the
Lightning players prevented Blue from scoring any more in the 1st.
Towards the end of the 2nd, Blue went on to score a 2nd goal at 2:55 and their 3rd at 1:46. Less then 2 minutes into the 3rd, Blue went to the box for body checking at 8:01. Lightning didn't score on the power play but #7 B. Uniac got a break away goal at 3:45 when he deked through the Blue team and five holed the goalie, making it 3-1. Blue scored the final goal on an empty Lightning net at 46 seconds. Final score. 4-1 Blue. Lightnings #3 A. Farhood had excellent positioning in front of the opposing Blue net all game. #17 J. Corman played a great defensive game from start to finish and #8 D. Song did a tremendous job of back checking and digging when the heat was on.
