Jan. 31st Lightning tied AtoMc Orange 1-1 in a very hard
fought battle. The tremendous Lightning defence of #15 M. Williamson and #17
J. Corman in the 1st kept Orange from scoring. At 9:38, 22 seconds into the
2nd, Orange scored the 1st goal.
The awesome fore checking and back checking by #3 A. Farhood prevented any more chances for Orange to score again. #17 J. Corman went to the penalty box for tripping with 6 minutes remaining in the game. Lightning would not accept defeat! At 1:59 #8 D. Song tipped in the tying goal, assisted by #4 L. Cabral. With 54.3 seconds of play left, Orange found themselves short a man for tripping. Lightning tried very hard to take home the win in the closing seconds but left the arena with a tie. The hard work of #10 B. Barnes all game won him the Golden Jersey.
