Playoffs Game 4
Blog by Gina Wolfe
Sat. March 7th Lightning faced AtoMc Black. Throughout the 1st, Lightning showed great speed and agility. They made beauty attempts on net but Blacks goalie wasn't letting anything past. Less than 2 min. into the 2nd, #4 L. Cabral deked out the defense and goalie scoring at 8:07 making it 1-0.

Shortly after #14 K. Curtis-Wolfe went deep into Blacks end, wrapped around the net and passed the puck out front to #7 B. Uniac. Uniac hammered it in the net at 7:30 making it 2-0. Goalies from both teams played like they were pulled down from the NHL for the rest of the 2nd! It's been said that a 2-0 lead is the worst lead to have in hockey. Many teams losing by that score turn around and win the game! I think Black was trying to prove the theory when they started the 3rd period by getting on the score board 31 seconds in making it 2-1. At 7:23, Black tied the game! Lightning came back though. At 5:17, #4 L. Cabral scored his 2nd goal of the game, with some crazy moves and dekes through D's legs, making the score 3-2. #14 K. Curtis-Wolfe scored the final goal of the game at 2:22. The break away goal going 5 hole made it 4-2. Well deserved golden jersey player of the game was #17 J. Corman! He had more stealth then ever that game, played his position extraordinarily, kept it in and cleared it out! Great effort all game Corman! Way to bring it buddy! #2 S. Ritchie and #10 B. Barnes had an amazing game and covered the ice from one end to the other like nobody's business! The whole lightning team skated like they had jet packs on out there!
