Character Win for Wolves
The Waterloo Minor Bantam Gold Wolves hosted the Stratford Warriors on Sunday.
The team was already playing with a short bench due to an injury and a suspension when Henderson left the game with an upper body injury in the first. McMurry put the Wolves on the board when his wrist shot snuck through to make it 1-0. Jensen and Kula assisted on the goal. For the last two periods, the Wolves played their hearts out and hung on for the very hard-fought victory. Chappelle picked up the shutout for the Wolves. A great team effort!
The third place Wolves are in London Wednesday night to play second place London Green.
