Wolves Drop Opener To London Green
The Minor Bantam Gold Wolves hosted London Green for the first game of their six point semi-final series.

The Wolves got off to a great start as Matthews banged in a loose puck that was sitting in the crease, 15 seconds into the first period.  McMurry assisted on the goal.  The Wolves kept up their strong play through the first period and were rewarded with a power play marker late in the first when Harris scored on a rebound from close in.  Bordessa and Kula had the helpers on the second goal.

London got one back five minutes into the second period to make it a 2-1 game.  Both teams kept up the intensity and scoring chances were had had both ends.  It appeared that Waterloo had scored their scored goal later in the second, but a quick whistle negated the goal.

London tied the game in the opening minute of the third period while on a five on three power play.  Green added another goal with the man advantage with five minutes left to go in the third.  The Wolves tried but couldn't come up with the equalizer as London took the opener 3-2.

The Wolves head to London for a pair of games on the weekend.
