The Pee Wee Gold Wolves faced off against Kitchener Red on Sunday.

The Rangers came out of the gate flying and were able to control the play through most of the opening period as they kept the Wolves without a shot on goal.  Raegan Gies kept the Rangers off the scoreboard by making several key saves to keep the game scoreless heading into the middle stanza.  The Wolves picked up the intensity in the second finally getting pucks to the net and setting up some good scoring opportunities.  The Wolves opened the scoring when Justin Labrie picked up the rebound off a Brandon McBain shot from the point and fired it into the empty net.  The Wolves put the game away late in the third when Quinn Bisch's shot was banged in by Samson Walsom to make the final 2-0.  Labrie also assisted on the play.  Another solid team effort to cap off a four-point weekend to open the AA portion of the schedule.

The Wolves are back in action next Saturday when they travel to Woodstock.
