Pee Wee Gold Lets One Slip Away
The Pee Wee Gold Wolves were looking for a home ice win against London Green on Sunday.  A victory would put the Wolves in the Alliance finals.

The Wolves got on the board first when Justin Labrie found the back of the net.  Luke Matthews and Josh Stephens picked up the helpers.  The 1-0 lead was short lived as the London skated into the Wolves zone after the face-off and evened the score just 11 seconds later.  The Wolves regained the lead soon after when Will Lennox went D to D to Griffin Harris and Harris teed one up from the blue line to make the score 2-1.  Evan Kula also assisted on the goal.  The Wolves kept coming and made it 3-1 on the power play less than two minutes later.  Thomas Lunz came in from the point and found a loose puck in the slot to give Waterloo a two goal lead.  Thomas Dunbar and Derek Jensen assisted on the play.  Green didn't give up though and they came right back less than a minute later to make it a one goal game.  Green tied it up early in the second and controlled most of the play from that point on.  London took the lead early in the third and looked to be  on their way to a 4-3 victory.  The Wolves had the extra attacker on in the final moments when Dunbar squeezed one by the goaltender with only 6 seconds left in the third.  The teams headed for a 5 minute overtime period.  In the dying seconds of the OT, the Wolves couldn't clear the zone and Green took advantage, scoring with only 9 seconds left in the game.

The series is tied at 4 points apiece.  The deciding game goes tomorrow night in London.  Go Wolves!
