Pee Wee Wolves Blank Bulldogs
The Pee Wee Wolves had a tougher time than expected and had to gut out a win over the Burlington Bulldogs on Sunday.
The Wolves got off to a slow start in this one, only registering one shot on goal in the opening period. The teams remained scoreless as the Wolves had trouble getting the offense in gear. It took until mid-way through the final frame before the Wolves opened the scoring while on the power play. Will Lennox started the play by going D to D to Brandon McBain. McBain fired a low shot that was redirected into the goal by Luke Matthews. Josh Stephens made it 2-0 late in the game with assists going to Bryce Henderson and Derek Jensen. Raegan Gies got the shutout. McBain was the game's Hardest Worker.
The Wolves travel to London Wednesday night to play their final regular season game against London Green.
