Wolves Drop Close Decision to Kitchener Red
The Pee Wee Gold Wolves faced off against Kitchener Red in an early Saturday match-up.
This was a tight-checking game from the start and scoring chances were minimal for both teams. Kitchener got on the board late in the first to make it 1-0. That was all the scoring for this game as both goaltenders stood tall when called upon. Sawyer Poetker made a couple of brilliant saves to keep the Wolves in the game. It was a solid effort for the Wolves as they were playing with a short bench. A big thank you to Connor Arnold, who was called up to from the Minor Pee Wee Gold team to help out. Bryson Henderson was the game's Hardest Worker for the Wolves.
The Wolves hit the road tomorrow for an afternoon game in Sarnia against the Sting.
