The Minor Atom AAA Wolves have advanced to the Alliance of Ontario championship final series with their semi-final series win over the Elgin Middlesex Chiefs.  The Wolves will be facing their season rivals, the Kitchener Junior Rangers in the Alliance Finals.

Elgin Middlesex Chiefs were outshot in every game.  Eventually the Wolves balanced attack with scoring contributions from everyone, a tight team defense against some very skilled individual Chief players and stellar playoff goalkeeping when we needed it were the keys to the series.  This series defined what it meant to be a team.

The Waterloo Wolves Minor Atom AAA team went 2-0-1 in their final 3 games to close out the regular season taking 5 of a possible 6 points.

Also this past weekend the boys enjoyed a fun outdoor game with parents and siblings on an outdoor rink in St. Jacobs.  The weather couldn't have been more perfect and it turned out to be a great team/family event!

Congratulations to the Waterloo Wolves Minor Atom AAA team who finished 2nd overall in the regular season just two points out of first with a record of 23 W, 4 L and 5 T with 134 GF and only 61 GA.    Good luck in the playoffs! Read More
