Great year Wolf Pack!
Submitted By Shawn Way on Fri 03 29, 13
The Minor Atom Wolves finished off a great season with a hard fought tie on Wednesday night which unfortunately ended their season, losing 8 points to 6 in the final championship series.

Not much can be said as the Wolves' took their cross town rivals to the seventh game, and did everything they could to push the series one more game.

The boys should be very proud of themselves as they fought hard for seven games in what was a very tight, hard checking series.  The Wolves had solid goaltending, a tenacious forecheck and hardcore pinching by the D which made it difficult for Kitchener to get out of their zone at times.  Scoring opportunities were minimal, but the Wolves did their best to capitalize on any chances they were given.

Great job gentlemen, you should be very proud of your accomplishments this year.  I would like to say thank you to all of you for your hard work and dedication.  As you look back at our season, I hope that each and every one of you can say that you learned something and more importantly, had fun and met many new friends!

Parents, the coaches would also like to thank you for your support and dedication to your player, and to cheering all the boys on.  You made it such a fun and positive atmosphere around our rink!

I would also like to thank the coaches for their commitment and dedication to the boys’ development!

Be Proud of the Wolf Pack!
Coach Shawn
