A total team defense was applied by the Minor Bantam AAAs, on Thursday night in game 1 vs. the London jr. Knights. The Wolves came away with a 2-1 Ot win, with Matt G. scoring from the point on the power play. Getting the assists were Sullivan S. and Nathan S. Luke P. was excellent in net, stopping 27 shots. London went up early on a redirect from a point shot and from there on in, London could not get quality shots, due to the outstanding D-Zone coverage by all players! Nathan S. evened the game in the 2nd with a p.p. goal assisted by Spencer S. and Nic K. Game 2 goes Saturday night!
Great job!

Brantford 99ers came out fast and hard and took an early 1-0 lead in the middle of the first period. Their aggressive style would lead to penalties and allowed us to take the lead on two power goals by Sullivan S and Josh B. Josh B scored another goal to make a 3-1 early in the third. The 99ers battled back and scored a late power play goal to even it up. This lead to overtime where Matt G. slid a beauty pass to Sullivan S who scored his second of the game and the OT winner. B.Jones picked up two helpers along with Jeremy N getting one.
A great team win, with many block shots and hard work. Off to the semis!
Congrats to all players for a job well done!

The Wolves returned home up 1-0 and played a very good puck moving game. If it wasn't for the excellent goaltending of the 99er's keeper the score could have been more than 4-1. Ben J. led the attack with 3 goals with Sullivan S picking up the other. Trent L had two helpers along with Schnarr and McMahon with 1 a piece. Luke P. was very solid in net stopping 18 of 19! Game 3 goes Sunday agternoon at 2:30 at rim Park!
