Wolves Show Character in Weekend Games
The Waterloo Wolves Minor Atom AAA team showed great character against the Huron Perth Lakers on Saturday and the Kitchener Rangers on Sunday to come out with a 3 point weekend.

The Wolves were a team on a mission Saturday as they faced the Lakers who were the only team to beat the Wolves so far this season in league play. Hard work was the name of the game and the Wolves were rewarded with a convincing 5-2
win. Mischa Stastna lead the way with a stellar performance in net. Goal scorers were Owen Parsons x2, Jacob Thompson, Brayden Hislop, and Jaxson Murray. Assists went to Brayden Hislop x2, Cooper Way, Jaxson Murray, Austin Stemmler, Owen Parsons and Cal Reesor.

On Sunday it was the battle of Kitchener-Waterloo and what a battle it was. The game was a back and forth affair with both teams producing many scoring opportunities. With the Wolves holding a 3-2 lead with only 52 seconds left in the game they seemed to be cruising to victory but the Rangers pulled their goalie for the extra attacker and scored to tie the game. Not to be outdone, the Wolves did not give up and went right back down the ice and regained the lead with 16 seconds left. This time it seemed certain that the Wolves had the game won but Kitchener was still not finished and somehow had enough time to storm back down to tie it once again with 5 seconds left. Goal scorers were Brayden Hislop, Cooper Way, Owen Parsons, and Kyle Maloney with assists going to Spencer Young x2, Owen Parsons, Jaxson Murray, Ryan McGeown and Austin Stemmler. Marschall Nicholls was solid in net for Waterloo.
