Timber Wolves Got the Moves Like Yagar...
Lots of firsts this day in Hamilton... first of all, I've never been pulled over by a R.I.D.E program at 11:45 AM on a Sunday morning, but coming off the Red Hill Valley Pkwy, there they were...

Anyways, on to more important firsts... Will Yagar had his best game as a member of the Timber Wolves to date, chalking up two goals and an assist.  All game long he was skating hard at the "D" with speed and agility, causing problems resulting in chances for his entire line.  His line mates Carter Mooney had 2 assists, and Jackson Hurst registered his first Timber Wolves goal, plus two assists.   The trio helped lead Waterloo Timber Wolves to an 8-2 victory over the Hamilton Spitfires....

The Timber Wolves reverted back to their slow starts after their fans had become accustomed to leads in the initial 10 seconds the past few games, actually falling behind in this game 0-1.   Then Luke Ronson made an incredible read on a pass to intercept and initiate a transition to offense (it must be the yellow / black / white, that play reminded me of Bobby Orr style offense generated from the defense), eventually registering in Jackson Hurst's goal that set the wheels in motion.    Waterloo Timber Wolves never really looked back from there.

Some of their best breakouts executed today this season, Waterloo Timber Wolves got the puck head-manned to forwards in motion all day long.  Firing on all offensive cylinders, Timber Wolves managed over 40 shots on net.   Kudos to the Spitfire goalkeeper who earned his Gatorade on this day.

Owen Parsons registered a hat trick, while Ryan McGeown had 3 assists and Dominick Hemphill also found the net for a goal.  Luke Ronson had two assists on the day in total.  David Gruber tallied one capably assisted by Jasper Peterson.  Dylan Baumann and Conor Adams both played some of their best hockey to date back on "D" and got assists to show for it.  A great 4 point total effort from the back line!  Keep moving the puck quickly to open men back there guys, and good things happen!

Jackson Marschuetz played steady in goal for the win.
