MD Minor Atom White vs Brantford 99er's

Brantford squeaked out a victory as their 99th shot on net lifted them past Waterloo 2 - 1.

Waterloo opened up the scoring late in the first period as Matthew Johnstone moved the puck up the ice before passing it out front to Chaz Proulx. Chaz fired the puck high stick side to give the boys the lead.

The pace was fast and furious throughout the second period as plenty of scoring opportunities were nearly capitalized by the wolves. At the other end, Jacob Craig came up huge on several occasions. He flashed his leather glove and stood his ground when Brantford pushed Waterloo back on their skates.

Three penalties in the third period seemed to be the boys undoing as they lost the lead late in the game.

Jacob Craig took home the hardest worker helmet for his outstanding performance between the pipes.

Very nice effort team. Get some well deserved rest. Good luck Saturday against the home team London.
