MD Minor Atom White vs Sarnia Sting
Sarnia Sting stung the wolves 3 – 2 in the final minutes of the London Tournament opener.

The boys came out with a brilliant first period as they took a 1 – 0 lead. Riley Waters launch a scud missile on net as Jake Millington and Brett Verutis added to their assist total on the season.

In the second period, they boys did an excellent job of pushing the puck to the side and keeping Sarnia to the outside and off the scoresheet.

The second goal came as Quade Willson skated the puck over the blueline and dished it to Mitchell McIntosh. Mitchell directed the puck to Nathan Edwards who gave the boys a two goal lead after shortly into the third. The team got into penalty trouble which seemed to spark their opponents as they scored 3 unanswered goals to pick up the win.

Jackson Kerr received the hardest worker helmet for some keen defensive stick work and aggressive pressure in front of his goal.

Skate hard boys, you still have two more games to go today. Great job.
