MD Minor Atom White vs St Catharines Hurricanes
The wolves were hit with gale force winds as the Hurricanes handed the team a 5 - 3 loss to start the run to the playoffs.
It was a rapid fire first period that saw few whistles being blown and plenty of end to end rushes. When all was said and done, Riley Waters whistled the puck high to tie the score at 1 - 1 mid way through the first.
The team took the lead on a nifty tic-tac-toe play. Chaz Proulx forced the turnover deep in St. Catharines zone and spotted Theo Wolfe prowling out front. Theo dished the puck over to Jake Millington who tucked it between the five hole. The three boys then notched another marker as Theo picked up the puck from Chaz and Jake and slammed it in the back of the net.
Good effort boys, keep working hard.
Chaz Proulx took home the hardest worker bucket for his awesome passes and a two point game.
