Ice Wolves in Semi Final for Fort Erie Tournament
This past
weekend the MD Atom Ice Wolves traveled to the Fort Erie Challenge tournament.
The boys finished the round robin with a tie and two wins, placing second
in their pool. This earned them a bye and straight to the semi-finals on Sunday.
During our breaks in between the games the players, coaches and parents enjoyed spending time with one another in Niagara Falls.
In the semi-final game the boys faced a tough London Bandits team and lost by a score of 2-1. The Ice Wolves played hard and showed lots of effort, but it just wasn't our day. London went on to win the tournament.
We are exceptionally proud of our tournament record this season.
In two tournaments the Ice Wolves made it to the Semi Final game and lost the games by only one goal.
In one tournament they emerged the Champions. Great experiences!
If they keep playing like they did this past weekend, good things are sure to come.
