Saturday, the Ice Wolves played St Catherines. An early goal in the first period set the tone that the Wolves were eager to play! They held the lead until the third period when St Catherines tied it up. It was a battle not lacking in attempts as Wolves went 2x against the crossbar. A very close game ending in a tie.
Sunday, the Ice Wolves took on the Hamilton Huskies. Wolves were shaky in the first period, but burst into the second period with renewed purpose. They took control of the puck and the game to pull off their first victory of 6-2 over Hamilton! Way to go Wolves!
