Win Some, Lose Some
Another great post to read from a great weekend of hockey! Thanks Gina

Sat. November 23rd the Timber Wolves came out strong but the Brantford Saints scored the 1st goal at 5:06. Less than a minute later #13 Carter Milne assisted on the back hand, over the goalie while he was down goal scored by #14 Robbie Young to tie up the game at 4:19. The rough & tough Brantford team found themselves in the box for body checking 2 times after that before the period ended. Time of penalties 3:16 & 1:46.   One second before the 2nd Brantford penalty ended, #77 Cameron Buck received a pass from #10 Liam Karges. Cameron played the wrap around & planted the puck in the back of a wide open net with ease while the goalie was still on the other side of the net. Just over a minute later, #22 Makhaya Campbell took a hard shot from the point that bounced off to #10 Liam Karges, who buried it at 8:25 in the 2nd to make it a 3-1 game. At 7:51 #13 Carter Milne got 2 minutes for tripping, followed by a Brantford penalty at 4:05 for body checking. The Wolves were able to use the man advantage for a power play goal scored by #14 Robbie Young at 3:22. He fired it in the top corner after #22 Makhaya Campbell shot another great rebound pick-up for his teammate. A frustrated Brantford team found themselves in the box again at 2:57, only this time it was a tripping call. The frustration brought forth a short handed goal for Brantford with 2:29 to play in the 2nd, making it a 4-2 game! Less than a minute into the 3rd #19 Hudson Vance got a body checking penalty at 14:11 leading to a power play goal by Brantford at 13:31. With 12:53 to play in the game Brantford tied it up 4-4! Needless to say, the remainder of the game was an edge of your seat, pulling hair, nail bitter, with screaming fans egging on their teams! Finally at the 7:36 mark #44 Ryan Class came out of nowhere, with a break away, 5 hole goal to take the lead back for Waterloo. The game ensuring goal came at 2:48 when #22 Makhaya Campbell blasted a top cheese goal assisted by #14 Robbie Young making it a 6-4 game for Waterloo to finish it.
2nd place Hamilton Hub Tigers came to Waterloo this past Sunday, Nov. 24th.
