1st Play-off Game

The Timber Wolves packed a punch on Sat. February 8th when they beat Kitchener Jr. Red. Less then a minute in at 9:04, #10 Liam Karges back handed in a sweet goal assisted by #44 Ryan Class. Kitchener tried their best throughout the period to get one in the net but #33 Liam Doherty played remarkably between the posts & didn't let anything past him. The 2nd period produced another goal for the Wolves. "I deked out the right winger, had a clearing, shot it on net & Karges tipped it in" quoted #27 Kayden Curtis-Wolfe, who assisted #10 Liam Karges 2nd goal of the game at 5:58 making it 2-0. Both teams battled hard for the rest of the game & with just 3:24 left in the 3rd Rangers Red got on the score board for a 2-1 final score. Huge props & big ups to #4 Caiden Benwell for his explosive stealth, passing & poke checking, #13 Carter Milne for his deking & digging, #22 Makhaya Campbell & #3 Ryan Godwin for their speed & agility & #27 Kayden Curtis-Wolfe for his 3rd period blocked shots. The entire Wolves team played a fantastic game & should be proud of their individual & team effort! Passing & skating was phenomenal gentleman! Extraordinary!!!
