Busy Week
Another great entry, thanks Gina.

Tues. Oct. 15th the Timber Wolves played in Cambridge against the Hawks. The two teams went into the game tied for 4th place in the standings. The 1st period didn't produce any goals for either team but the play stayed mostly in the Hawks end. At 8:04 in the 2nd #44 Ryan Class got 2 minutes for tripping & less than a min. later #22 Makhaya Campbell joined Ryan in the sin bin for hooking at 7:29. The Hawks with a two man advantage scored at 6:13. In the closing seconds of the 2nd period #9 Richard Wang took a great shot on net that rebounded off the goalie to the back hand of #66 Jeffrey Luo who tossed it in the net above the Cambridge goalies blocker to tie the game at 1 apiece. 12:54 in the 3rd the Hawks took a tripping penalty, stopping a break away attempt. Wolves with a power play opportunity flew down the ice & #22 Makhaya Campbell set up #77 Cameron Buck who buried it to take the lead. That would be all it took to close this game. Final score 2-1 Timber Wolves. The Wolves came out victorious & now sit tied for 2nd place.

Fri. Oct. 18th - Sun. Oct. 20th the boys made the long haul to St. Catherine's to participate in the John MacDonald Memorial MD tournament. The Wolves never made it to finals but had a great time & made closer connections & friendships with their team mates. Some of the Wolves were entered into a skills competition & beat all the competition with their speed & agility. Bravo gentlemen! Throughout the whole tournament, forward #13 Carter Milne & goalie #33 Liam Doherty played exceptionally! All Timber Wolves did a stand up job through the weekend.
