Game 20 - March 10th @ Brantford Saints
On Sunday March 10th, The Peewee Select Waterloo Wolves drove down hwy #24 to challenge the Brantford Saints to a game at the historic Brantford Civic Centre Arena.
The first period was a good back and forth battle at both ends of the rink and it was a fine display of goaltending skills.
The Wolves A Henhoeffer opened up the scoring of the game, one minute into the second period unassisted.
B Timms got the Wolves second and third goals of the game with assists going to K. Duquette and R. Read.
With five minutes to go in the third period of the game, the Wolves were up 3-0. The Brantford Saints allowed frustration to get the better of them due to a lack of discipline and poor sportsmanship. Way to go Wolves for not over reacting and allowing this to throw us off our game plan.
Its now time to prepare for the Alliance Championship in April, and put everything we have learnt from this very sucessful season into practice.
