Game 18 - Sat March 2nd vs Acton
On Saturday March 2nd the Acton PeeWee Selct Tanner's travelled to Albert McCormick arena to challenge the PeeWee Select Wolves to a home game.
It took almost a full eight minutes of back and forth, end to end hockey for the Wolves to finally open the scoring of the game. B Schal popped in a beauty goal, on a great passing play from J Weber and L Logel. Acton responded four minutes later while on a power play and the game was now tied at 1.
With only three minutes left in the second period M Beech scored on an unassisted defensive rush. B Hooper got the Wolves third goal unassisted, in the game with only seconds left in the 2nd period.
B Hooper then set up L Logel for a rare goal in the third period. R Read got the Wolves fifth goal of the game with L Logel getting the assist and his third point of the game and qualifiying him for the elite PeeWee Wolves Select Hat club! Way to go Lukie!!!
A Henhoeffer got the Wolves sixth goal of the game unassisted, with four minutes left in the game the Wolves we able to play a disciplined defensive game to keep Acton off the score board.
