Game 13 - Sat Feb 9th @ Rosedale of Hamilton
The day after the big snow storm, we Waterloo Wolves travelled down Hwy #6 to challenge The Rosedale PeeWee Select of Hamilton team.
It didn't take more then one minute for the Wolves to get the first goal and set the tone of this game. D Farhood popped one past the Rosedale goalie on a great set up from M Beech. However this didn't stop Rosedale as they came back halfway through the first period and tied the game at 1. D Farhood then got his and the Wolves second goal of the game on a nice passing play from B Timms and A Henhoeffer. The first period then ended 2-1 in favour of the Wolves and it was the D Farhood show, for that period for sure.
The fourth goal of the game and the Wolves third came at less then a minute into the second period. B Hooper sniped one past the Rosedale goalie on a great pass from J Witzel. Two minutes later R Read scored a beauty on a pass from defenseman M Beech. B Timms got our fifth goal of the game unassisted. B Hooper got his second goal of the game and was assisted by A Rowlands and B Mirt. The second period ended 6-1 for the Wolves.
Rosedale then switched to a more disciplined defensive style of play and only allowed one more goal to be scored in the third period. M Beech got an unassisted highly skilled goal on an end to end rush. The game ended in favor of the Wolves 7-1.
