Wolves Win 4-1 Over Black
The Pee Wee Gold Wolves faced off against the hard-working Waterloo Black team this afternoon.

The teams played a scoreless first period before Black scored with the man advantage.  Unfortunately for Gold, there is a rule that you are not allowed to play with 7 players.  Gold responded soon after on a nice individual effort from Derek Jensen.  Jensen jumped on a loose puck, skated down low, came across the top of the crease and fired a high wrister to even the score.  Jensen then scored his second of the period a few minutes later, taking a pass from Kyle Bordessa behind the Black net and scoring on the wrap-a-round.  Will Lennox also assisted on the goal.  The Wolves made it 3-1 in the final minute of the second period.  Thomas Dunbar fought through a check and outwaited the Black goaltender before roofing a backhand just inside the cross bar.  Black didn't give up though and they came at Gold hard in the third.  Black had several excellent scoring chances but Reagan Gies was there every time to shut the door.  Justin Labrie added an empty-netter in the final minute to make the final 4-1 for Gold.  Labrie and Gies were the Players of the Game for Gold.

The Pee Wee Gold Wolves wrap up the regular season with a game against second place London Green at RIM Park.
