Huge Team Effort Leads To Big Win For Pee Wee Wolves
The Pee Wee Gold Wolves faced the Woodstock Navy Vets for the third time this season.  In their two previous games, the Wolves came up on the short end of the scoreboard.

Woodstock got on the board quickly when a point shot was redirected to give them a one goal lead.  The Wolves responded in the second when Derek Jensen jumped on a loose puck and fired a blistering wrist shot to the top corner.  The Wolves had to dig deep as they were playing with only 11 skaters in this one.  They were rewarded late in the second when Lue Matthews wrist shot went in off the inside of the post.  Samson Walsom and Brandon McBain assisted on the play.  Jensen made it 3-1 for the Wolves when he took a nice feed from Thomas Lunz.  Walsom's blast from the point started the play.  Jensen capped off the hat trick a minute later when Matthews won the face-off clean and sent the puck to Jensen who put it in the back of the net to make the final 4-1.  A huge team effort today!  Matthews, Jensen, Lunz, and Griffen Harris were recognized for their performances today.

The Wolves are back in action tomorrow when they host the Stratford Warriors.
