Waterloo Gold Blanks Brantford
It was a repeat of their first encounter. Waterloo Gold defeated the Brantford 99ers 3-0 on home ice in October, and again in Brantford on Wednesday. The Wolves worked hard and played as a team. Goals were scored by Yourth with assists from Hemmerich and Onuska on a power play, Hayes assisted by Onuska and Young, and Loosemore with assists from Shi and Peake on a power play. Goaltender Ludolph shut down Brantford repeatedly and denied a goal on a penalty shot in the second.
