A Tie and a Win for Waterloo Gold
Waterloo Gold started the second half of the season with two tough games at home on the weekend.

Saturday, Waterloo and Kitchener Red battled to a scoreless draw. Ludolph was named player of the game.

Sunday Waterloo faced the London Jr. Knights Gold. Both teams came out strong but the game remained scoreless throughout the first. Wesley Taylor started the scoring in the second with a shot that bounced over the goalie's glove. Hayes, assisted by Schouppe, made it 2-0. London scored two quick power play goals to tie it up but Peake would answer back less than a minute later to put Waterloo in the lead 3-2 by the end of the second. Onuska scored Waterloo's fourth goal, assisted by Loosemore and Shi. This was followed by another London power play goal to make the final 4-3. Onuska was named player of the game.

Waterloo Gold will be on the road for the next two games -- Brantford on Wednesday and Woodstock next Monday.
