WOLVES ARE ALLIANCE FINALISTS....NOW PREPARING FOR OHL CUP!!!
The Minor Midget AAA Wolves completed a very successful playoff run this past weekend when they lost to Elgin Middlesex Cheifs in the Alliance Final. Waterloo put up a hard fight but int he end Elgin prevailed 4 games to none. It was a closer series then a sweep but in the end Elgin buried the scoring chances they were given and Waterloo couldn't consistently do that. Waterloo swept Bratnford in round 1, beat Sun County 7pts to 1pt in round 2, and beat Huron Perth in 5 games by scoring with 9 seconds left to win. This got them a berth int he OHL CUP
which starts March 12th and runs to the 17th. Stayed tuned for the schedule for the OHl Cup as will be posted this week
