WATERLOO SWEEPS BRANTFORD IN ROUND ONE
In the first round of Alliance Minor Midgets Playoffs the Waterloo Wolves (2nd Place) faced the Brantford 99ers (7th Place) in a best of 5 series.

In Game 1 Waterloo skated to a 2-1 victory. Waterloo controlled most of the game outshooting them 25-11. Goal scorers for Waterloo were Tyler Randerson and Dawson Heyworth with the winner. Will Rawski played solid in limit action for the win.

In Game 2 they travelled to Brantford which saw Waterloo play a solid road game and get a 4-1 win. Goal scorers for Waterloo were Maverick Petrie with two, and Braedon Hancock with two including the winner. Bailey Degasperis had a strong game in net for the win.

In Game 3 Waterloo got the brooms out and swept away Brantford with a strong 3-1 win. Goal scorers were Jamie Collins with two, and Klayton Hoelscher. This game also saw the return of Jordan Hoekstra who has been out due to injury since October 20th.

Waterloo now wil sit and wait until Jan 26th when they travel to Essex to open up their round 2 series vs. Sun County Panthers.
