December 17th- Waterloo vs Orangeville @ AMCE
Tonight the Wolves faced a rather skillful and colourful group from Orangeville. Apparently this community does not have a select team per say but rather they are called an “AE-2” team. We suspect that many of their players came from the European midget (in the literal sense) professional league. It was a fast paced game with several penalties on both sides. Unfortunately, we fell behind with only one goal being scored by Curtis F with an assist by Xavier L. To our defense, Orangeville was lucky with several of their goals and while we had several scoring opportunities, nothing came to fruition. The Waterloo fans remained faithful with their cheering in spite of the scoreboard. I guess we will just have to wait for a rematch inOrangeville and with our luck it will likely be on the stormiest day of the year! See you Friday in Brantford.
